Update

Holden is now 8 months old!  I think this is the first picture I have posted on my blog of him....I know, I am a horrible mother! Just so I can remember, here are some facts:

The last time he went to the doctor (a few weeks ago) he weighted 21 pounds!
He started crawling at 7 months and got his first tooth at 7 months also.
Holden is such a mama's boy! 
He can't get enough of Toka..it is a constant battle makin sure she doesn't bite him
He is the sweetest, most even tempered little boy (except when he is hungry..then he just screams!)

Brielle is 4 and she loves going to dance with Miss Emily, pre-school and she loves her brothers. She is constantly on the go, and I struggle to keep up with her.  She loves to color, and she is finally starting to show an interest in school! Unfortunately, since her Birthday is in November, she is going to have to wait awhile before she can go to Kindergarten.  Brie loves to "read" her scriptures and is always our reminder that we need to say our prayers.  She is such a girly-girl with a huge splash of tomboy :)

Ethan is 6 and is getting ready to start is 4th quarter of 1st grade.  He loves his teacher Miss Snell and he loves going to Edu-Prize.  I am so proud of the boy that he is.  He always has a nice compliment and a huge hug for me. Ethan is such a good big brother!  He sits next to Holden in the car and he is the only one that can make Holden stop crying while we are driving.  I love my little helper! For the past year it seems we have been checking to see if he has any loose teeth...and finally the time came!  Last month he lost his first tooth..and then a week later his second.  He was soo excited when the tooth fairy came and brought him a dollar.

This Blog Needs Updated

I haven't been able to post for quite a few months.  I am working on getting that fixed, but don't expect an update for all the time I haven't posted.  Sorry. 

The biggest update is Mr. Holden...so I will work on getting something up about him.

Swmming in February!!

Today was Trav's day off before his 36 day turnaround. The weather was wonderful so we ventured over to the clubhouse to go swimming......in February!! The kids had a great time in the water, and I enjoyed sitting in the lounge chair getting some sun (I do not have a maternity swimsuit yet, so I couldn't go swimming)

I love that we can go swimming in February!

Just Hanging Around

Sorry I haven't posted anything since we moved. Sickness followed us down here and I think we have all gone through a rough cold. (and ear infection for Ethan) The move went great, we are pretty much settled, and Trav should be starting his looong job next week.

We started Ethan in half day Kindergarten, and he is starting to adjust to his new school. Brielle starts swimming lessons next Tuesday if the weather is on our side. Brielle has started Dance, and Ethan is loving his Tumbling class.

Nothing exciting for me except I am at the halfway point in my pregnancy! I have my 20 week visit next Wednesday and it sounds like I have a great Doctor, and hospital, to deliver Holden in. I felt him kick for the first time a few days ago, but he is an absolute night owl, so I only feel him late in the evening. I am going to talk to my doctor about these crappy headaches I am still having...so I might be more social after next week :) More postings to come in the near future.

BOY!!!!!!!!


I know it is still early for us to find out, but since Trav might be living in a different state when my 20 week appointment comes around, we thought we would just go to Fetal Fotos and find out! I didn't think that they would be able to tell us, but this little boy was more than willing to show us the determining parts!! I was shocked to say the least because I was convinced it was another girl. We are soo excited!!

Ever since we found out we were having another baby we have been trying to come up with names. We had a boys name picked out, but could never think of anything for a girls name.....I guess this is why. Come end of June we will be excited to meet little Holden!

Bunkbeds

We finally got the kids bunkbeds!

The only bad thing about having bunkbeds is Ethan has already pushed Brie off the top, and Brielle refuses to use the ladder to climb on the top bunk. I am hoping I won't be making any trips to the ER anytime soon.
